Lloyd F. Lehman
            Corning | Lloyd F. Lehman, 76, of Hornby, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2005, at Founders Pavilion.
            He was a retired Corning Inc. employee.
            Survivors include his wife, Laura Lehman of Hornby; three daughters, Jean Hakes of Corning, Edith Stempin and Faye Lehman, both of Hornby.
            Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
            Burial will be in Hornby Central Valley Cemetery.
            Arrangements are with Haughey Funeral Home.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF . . . Lloyd F. Lehman
            HORNBY, NY | Hornby, N.Y. Lloyd F. Lehman, 76, of 5125 McLaughlin Rd., Beaver Dams, N.Y. passed away Saturday, November 19, 2006 following several hospitalizations and a short stay at the Founders Pavilion.
            Lloyd was born July 11, 1929 in Corning, N.Y. the son of the late Everett (Pete) and Nellie Kalmbach Lehman. He attended schools in Beaver Dams and Corning. He married Laura Dugan on December 22, 1945 in Addison, NY. He was a gaffer at Corning Glass Works retiring in June of 1988 with 38 years of active service. Lloyd was a lifetime member of A.F.G.W.U 1000.
            He is survived by his wife, Laura and daughers; Jean Hakes of Corning, Edith (John) Stempin of Hornby and Faye Lehman of Hornby. Also grandchildren; john Adrienne Stempin of Rock Stream, NY; David (Heidi) Kerko of Portola Valley, CA., Bryan (Tara) Kerko of Santa Cruz, CA., Carly (Randy) Dupuis of Schenectady, NY, Jeremy Hakes of Frederick, MD and Patrick Stempin of Corning, NY. Also 4 great grandchildren; Jacob, Laura and Matthew Stempin of Rock Stream and Quinn Kerko of Santa Cruz; 2 sisters-in-laws; Eugertha Vivian Lehman and Jean Rogers Lehman, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
            Lloyd was a lifetime member of the Hornby Volunteer Fire Dept. and spent many hours gardening in Hornby, playing cards and telling jokes. He enjoyed playing pool, volleyball and bacci with family. He was an avid hunter, loved Country Western music and the Yankees.
            Calling hours will be arranged for family and close friends by Haughey Funeral Home of Corning, N.Y. Rev. Richard Hubbard will offer a prayer service following the visitation. Burial will be at the Hornby Central Valley Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
            Memorial donations can be given in Lloyd's name to the American Cancer Society 627 W. Church St Elmira, NY 14905.

            Survivors include her daughters, Jean Hakes of Corning and Edith Stempin of Hornby.

            CORNING, NY | Laura J. Lehman, 87 years formerly of McLaughlin Hill Rd, Hornby, NY passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at home.
            Born November 26, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Edith Dugan. Laura graduated from Corning Northside.
            She and her husband, Lloyd, raised their daughters on their farm in Hornby. She instilled wonderful values, good manners, responsibility and honesty in their children and grandchildren. Laura was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd, in 2005 after 60 years of marriage.
            Laura was an active member of the Hornby Congregational Church, Church Women United Fellowship of Corning, Hornby Fire Co. Women's Auxiliary, Hornby Crafters, Youth Groups and Brownies. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, square dancing, playing euchre, canasta and putting together complicated jigsaw puzzles with her family. Though she traveled out of state for weddings, etc., she was always glad to return to the beautiful hills of Hornby.
            She is survived by her daughters; Jean Hakes of Corning, NY and Edith (John) Stempin of Hornby, NY and six grandchildren; David (Heidi) Kerko of CA, John Paul (Adrienne) Stempin of Hornby, Bryan (Tara) Kirko of CA, Carly (Randy) Dupuis, Albany, NY, Jeremy Hakes of MD and Patrick Stempin of Corning, NY. Also twelve great grandchildren; Jacob, Laura, Matthew, Kyle, Quinn, Reilly, Tyler, Violet, Parker, Katharine, and twins, Nicholas and Alex.
            In addition to her husband, Lloyd, Laura was predeceased by her daughter, Faye in 2008.
            Calling hours for her friends and family will be held Tuesday, October 2, 2011 from 6-8 pm. A prayer service will follows at 8:pm with the Rev. Richard Hubbard oficiating, at Haughey Funeral Home, 216 E. First St., Corning, NY. Burial will be in the family plot at Hornby Central Valley Cemetery.
            The famliy asks that donations be given in Laura's name to the Hornby Congregational Church, Rr 1, Beaver Dams, NY 14812, American Heart Association, Heart Gifts Processing Center, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220 or to Southern Tier Hospice and Palliative Care, 11751 E. Corning Rd., Corning, NY 14830.

            She was a homemaker.
            Survivors include two daughters, Jean Hakes of Corning and Edith Stempin of Hornby.
            Calling hours are 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Haughey Funeral Home, 216 E. First St., Corning.
            Services will be held there at the conclusion of calling hours at 8 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Richard Hubbard officiating.
            Burial will be in Central Valley Cemetery, Hornby.
