Pvt. Deloris LeBaron Completes WAC Training
Mrs. Jesse D. Hammond, 107 Front street, Addison, has received word that her sister, Pvt. Delores LeBaron of the WACs has finished her basic training and is now serving in the clerical school at Fort Oglethorpe, Ga. Pvt. LeBaron is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Lehman of Hornby R. D. 1.

Alvin W. Force
CORNING - Alvin W. Force, 72, of 182 South Pl., died Sunday, November 3, 1985 in Wilmington, Dela.
He was on a polka excursion with others when stricken on the dance floor and was dead on arrival at the Wilmington General Hospital.
He was born Feb. 22, 1913 in Corning, son of Levy and Myrtle Ludwig Force.
He was a former machine operator for Corning Glass Works, member of the Elmira Moose Lodge, the Soaring Polka Association, the White Eagles Club of Elmira, and the Horseheads Elks Lodge.
Surviving are three sons, Charles Force of Rochester, Billy Force of Florida, and Elton Force of California; two brothers, Albert Force of Fort Worth, Texas, and Edwin Force of Big Flats; three sisters, Fannie (Mrs. Arthur) Hurd of Painted Post, Ella Mae (Mrs. Bert) Goslin of Fort Myers, Fla., and Clara (Mrs. Norman) Brennan of Van Nuys, Calif., and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours at Carpenter's Funeral Home will be Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services will be there Thursday at 11 a.m., the Rev. Gary Butler officiating. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery.
