            Frank (Hank) Taylor, 86, of Washington D.C., formerly of Corning, died Wednesday, June 30, 1982, following a long illness.
            He was born in Corning Jan. 23, 1896 to George and Florence Bacon Taylor. He married Hilma Taylor who predeceased him.
            He was a stationary engineer for the former New York Central Railroad and in 1938 joined the Department of Interior in Washington as a head engineer. He retired in 1969.
            Survivors are his wife, Lucille; two daughters, Florence Kelce of California and Ruth Osterhoudt of Corning; sister, Nettie Nairs of Phoenix, Ariz., and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
